RANGE VIEW
Also called BELLCHAMBERS.
South of Sandstone on the road to the settlement of Paynes Find.
16 km from the abandoned town of Nunngarra.

REDCASTLE
17.5 km north west of the abandoned town of Yundamindera.

REEDY
27 08' S 118 17' E
70 km north east of Cue.
Gold mining town.
Gold discovered in the early 1930's. A request was made by
the Cue-Day Dawn Road Board for a townsite to be surveyed and declared in 1933. The names Mathers and Triton were suggested but Reedy was selected gazetted in 1934.
The comes from Reedy's Well, named after H. Reed who discovered gold in this area around 1899-1900.

ROARING GIMLET
Early name for - GOONGARRIE.

ROTHSAY Known earlier as WOODLEY'S FIND.
29 17' S 116 53' E
70 km east north east from Perenjori.
Gold mining town.
Gold was discovered here George Woodley in 1894.
 Woodley sold his claim to a Scottish company in 1895.
The town site was gazetted in 1898.
This townsite is probably named after the Scottish town of Rothesay.
