DESCRIPTION

Rowles Lagoon is located about 73 km north of Coolgardie via a good (in dry weather) unsealed road.

The lagoon does dry out from time to time and can also flood if there has been heavy rainfall so it may be best to check first before heading out there.

It is a National Parks site so although camping is permitted, pets are not.

Sadly only the day use area has nice views of the lake and the camping area is set back which is a bit of a shame as looking at the lake and birdlife would be the main motivation for visiting.

As with most National Park sites there are posts everywhere to restrict where you can camp. This not only blocks off some good campsites that should be available, it makes it difficult for those with bigger rigs to manouver.
