Port Smith is located on the north west coast 140 Km south west of Broome. The last 23km is via unsealed (but usually good condition) gravel road.

The caravan park has 100 powered sites and an un-powered overflow area. There is also chalet accommodation available.

The location is known as an excellent fishing destination.
