Pergandes Sheep Yards
The sheep yards are a historic site where early pioneers constructed their yards, not from posts and wire, but from large slabs of granite.
You have to wonder why, because it certainly sounds like a far more difficult job.
Although the yards are on private property, visitors are welcome until 6pm daily (as long as they close the gate behind them.)
There are picnic facilities and wood fired BBQs available and there are also the remains of the old homestead but little remains today but a chimney and a lot of crumbling walls.
The yards are located just south of Marshall Rock.
