Located on the south coast east of Walpole, Peaceful Bay is little more than a caravan park and a few holiday houses.

It is one of the few coastal settlements that has yet to succumb to greed and development and as such it retains an old-world charm that has been lost just about everywhere else along the W.A. coast.

The caravan park is huge and sites are a reasonable size. Out of peak season there is plenty of room to find space away from others if you are looking for real peace and quiet.

The Bibbulmun Track passes through the area and apart from walking and cycling, activities include fishing, swimming, 4 wheel driving and there are world class attractions in the area including the Tree Top Walk, Ancient Empires and William Bay National Park that includes Elephant Rocks and Green's Pool.

Peaceful Bay has long been associated with recreation and relaxation as it was used by early farmers in the area as a holiday destination when they had time for a break from the hardships of working the land.
