Parry Beach lies on the south coast of Western Australia between the towns of Denmark and Walpole at the western end of William Bay National Park.

Apart from the stunning scenery, the main attraction at Parry, is a large well appointed campsite with shaded sites, clean attractive ablution blocks and even water for washing. The ablution blocks have showers and the water heating is solar powered so don't be the last one to have a shower in the evening as the water might be a bit on the chilly side.

The campsite has a height limit of 2.7 metres at the entrance so big rigs can't access the main campsite. We did note that there was a 1 night overflow area for big rigs so they are not locked out of the area completely. We have a Toyota Coaster Motorhome with a rooftop air conditioner that just squeaked under the height bar at the entrance. (Techinically it did touch as we went through).

The fees for camping are some of the lowest in the area and generators are permitted during fixed hours during the day.

The campsite is packed-out in peak season and it is a first-come, first-served basis. Outside peak times you will usually find a site available.

The Bibbulmun Track runs through the campsite and this makes a great drop-off of pick-up point for walkers.

Other activities include swimming, fishing, bike riding and just relaxing. This is a wonderful spot to base yourself when you are exploring the area. When the swell and wind are right, Parry Beach can also be quite a good surfing spot.

The beach is accessable to 4x4 vehicles and beach launching of boats is possible on calm days. Parry Inlet is about a kilometre north east of the campsite and during times of high rainfall the inlet breaks out to the sea making 4x4 and walking access further east along the beach much more challenging.

There is a day use picnic spot along a bush track leading to the mouth of the inlet. The only facilities here are seats and a table. It is possible to canoe up the channel to the main inlet a little further inland.

For more information on Parry Beach you can visit the Denmark Shire page.

Access to Parry Beach is 20 kilometres west of Denmark along the South Coast Highway and south into Parry Beach Road.
