Norring Lake is located south west of Wagin and is accessed via Great Southern Highway and Lime Lake Road (unsealed).
Water levels in the lake can vary greatly so the chance to go boating or swimming will depend on both the level and quality of the water.
There are two areas by the lake that are used for picnics and camping. There is no mention of whether camping is officially allowed
but it does seem to be tolerated as many motorhomes and caravans use the site.
In 2018 facilities at the lake were upgraded at both picnic sites. This is great to know as the facilities had been removed at one time.
The northern picnic area is accessed via Lime Lake and Andrews Roads. There is another picnic area on the west side of the lake that is
accessed by Lime Lake, Norring and Pederick Roads.
When water levels are high enough water skiing is a popular activity at the lake.
Mosquitoes can be a real problem at the lake so when visiting, make sure you wear appropriate clothing and use insect repellent.
There may be no rubbish collection facilities at the lake so please take your rubbish home and dispose of it properly.
These sites only continue to be made available as long as those who visit respect the area.
